Denver Law Enforcement Accountability Town Hall
Thursday, June 2, 2011 - 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Please join us for this community-driven planning process to decide how we would like to move forward together in calling for reform of Denver's law enforcement agencies. While vague promises of review and policy changes have been made at various times by mayoral candidates and law enforcement leaders, the ACLU believes that truly effective reform must come from the community. We don’t want a seat at law enforcement’s table, we’re inviting them to ours. Local organizations and community leaders are invited to imagine a safe, free and respectful Denver, and talk about what steps we need to take to get there
RSVP to Erik Maulbetsch at erikm@aclu-co.org. We will send you details of the meeting, including our location which is currently TBD.
