We intend the comments section of our Facebook page to be a forum where you can freely express your views on materials we post and on comments posted by others. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from posting, and we cannot permit postings of, requests for legal assistance and postings that could cause ACLU to incur legal liability.

For example, given our nonprofit status, we cannot host comments that show a preference for or opposition to a candidate for elective office or a political party and ask that you not engage in that activity here (or include links to other websites that do so). Additionally, please do not use the comments portion of this blog to solicit personally identifying information (names, email addresses, home address, financial information, etc.) from, or post personally identifying information about, others. We also ask that you not use the comments portion for advertising.
