ACLU Awarded Grant from Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado

American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Colorado (ACLU of Colorado) is pleased to announce a grant award of $5,000 from the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado for support of educational programs and ACLU Chapter work in El Paso County.
ACLU of Colorado is a statewide organization dedicated to the preservation of individual freedom and governmental restraint. The goal is to protect and defend the constitutionally guaranteed rights of all Coloradans through litigation, education, and advocacy.
According to Sue Armstrong, Executive Director, "We are pleased to receive this grant from the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Colorado. The grant will support much-needed educational programs dealing with civil rights and civil liberties for the citizens of El Paso County. This grant enables ACLU Foundation of Colorado to continue educating and involving the public in civil liberties issues."
