Portrait of Crosby Canotas, Development Coordinator

Crosby joined the ACLU of Colorado in 2022 and currently serves as the Institutional Funds Officer, nurturing relationships with foundations and other entities to steward resources for advancing civil rights and systemic equality.

Crosby grew up in a hand-built adobe house at the end of a dirt lane in Albuquerque, NM, where they were raised by their neighbors and chosen family. They hold a degree in Art History from UC Berkeley and lived in Wales, San Francisco, Vietnam, and New York before settling in Colorado.

When not at work, they run marathons, put their hands in the dirt of their garden, and seek out queer joy.
