We’re thrilled to welcome Suzie Post as the new Director of Philanthropy at the ACLU of Colorado! Suzie brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and advocacy. Her dedication to advancing equity, access, and social justice is a hallmark of her professional and personal journey.

Most recently, Suzie served as the Director of Partnerships & Fund Development at the Sherwood Autism Center in Kansas City, Missouri, where she spearheaded initiatives to educate, equip, and empower children and adults with autism to be independent in family and community life.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Suzie has served as the chair of Womxn’s March Denver and a founding member of the IDEA Task Force for Jefferson County. She is also a proud first-generation college graduate, holding a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwest Missouri State University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Suzie enjoys fishing, hiking, writing, gardening, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Nuggets, and the KC Current.
