Amendment 76 is on the Colorado ballot this November and asks voters to amend the constitution to say “ONLY a citizen” of the US who has attained the age of 18 can vote in ANY Colorado election. The current language says “EVERY citizen.” Through this change, 17 year-old’s would no longer be able to vote in primary elections and there would be a permanent limit on how we vote in Colorado. Amendment 76 is run and funded by a Florida-based organization called Citizen Voters, Inc. who is working to push their anti-immigrant agenda in states across the country.
To defeat this, we need your help. Join us on October 21 at 6 p.m. to reach out to voters across Colorado and let them know we encourage a NO vote on Amendment 76 to stop the anti-immigrant, anti-voter accessibility agenda of this initiative. A training will be provided as well as options for folks who do not wish to make phone calls but wish to help with our outreach.
