The Colorado reapportionment commission (commission) is constituted decennially for the purpose of establishing the senatorial and representative districts of the state legislature. The bill requires at least 7 of the 11 appointees to the commission reside in counties of 25,000 or fewer persons, according to the most recent federal census.
